New Agent Bootcamp

Live weekly classes in eXp World

Bootcamp is a requirement for:

  • all newly licensed agents and must be completed within 90 days of joining eXp Realty – Canada; and
  • any joining real estate agent that has not completed 4 transactions in the last 12 months.

New agents to eXp Canada are enrolled weekly to the Bootcamp program. (based on number of closed transactions in the last 12 months)

Required:  green, red, blue & yellow levels

  • Green Level (5 courses to complete this level) – Your Provincial Broker Team will train you on all the forms and processes for your province. Here you will learn all about the contracts you will use, the flow of a transaction, a listing, what and how to use conditions in a contract, basic tips on staying out of real estate jail, how to use your provincial resource site, who to go to with questions and how to reach them. In total each province will have five courses that must be completed. 
  • Red Level (5 courses to complete this level) – Gain a strong understanding of Canadian Federal Compliance. Our Compliance Officer will take you through the key areas known as trouble areas for agents. These classes are all online, with the exception of FINTRAC that must be live and can be accessed at any time.  They include: FINTRAC, Privacy Policy, the DNCL/Telelisting, CASL and finally the Competition Act and Ethics in real estate. 
  • Blue Level (4 courses to complete this level) – To work effectively inside a virtual environment you must know about it and how to access the people, classes and support that you need. Your courses here include: Skyslope (in Quebec it is Ezmax) Training – this is your paperless filing cabinet and how your staff will access your documents. FTNI – this is our online deposit system. It is as easy to use as taking a photo. eXp World – learn the layout of eXp world and how to work within the virtual world using a connecting tool called Workplace which is both a chat tool and a noticeboard of all things eXp Realty. 
  • Yellow Level (5 courses to complete this level) – These are elective courses to learn the basics about Lead Generation. On the eXp Realty MindFlash site there is a catalogue of courses to choose your 5 Lead Generation elective classes from.

What will you learn about in the weekly live sessions?

Weekly classes for the New Agent Bootcamp: You must complete either live classes in the CDN Auditorium or virtually through the MindFlash, on-demand learning system. Each class is approximately 2 hours in length. If you are truly serious about fast tracking your way to a seriously strong and lucrative real estate business – this is the course that you will want to take.

What is New Agent Bootcamp (NABC)

This program was designed to equip agents with the fundamentals required for a successful real  estate career!

The New Agent Bootcamp is an educational program that covers a variety of topics related to your real estate career, including province-specific content.

NABC students will receive support from their provincial broker team and our Agent Programs Staff team as they navigate the New Agent Bootcamp. Students who would like additional support do have the opportunity to be paired with an NABC coach who will meet with them regularly and guide them through their NABC journey.

Is New Agent Bootcamp Required?

Generally, if an Agent has not completed three (3) purchase or sale transactions (or any combination thereof) preceding the Agents Onboard Date, the Agent will be required to participate in the New Agent Bootcamp upon affiliating their license with eXp.

 

There are no additional fees or splits associated with New Agent Bootcamp.
